🎣 By the time you read this, I’ll be at one of my favorite places in the Hill Country: Mo-Ranch for Captain Cam’s Youth Fishing Program.

There are two more on the calendar in September, and I cannot recommend this low-pressure family outing enough. Come fish, play, enjoy the river, and support a local family pouring so much into giving kids this experience.

And if you have older kids or teens, this would be such a good way to reconnect, which I know so many families are craving these days. Have them knock out the homework early, make the drive to Hunt, and spend the evening together by the river.

Consider this my pitch for slower September Sundays. :)

🐝 I also wrapped up the Beehive Meals giveaway this week, and whew, those nominations were really hard to read. So many in our community are struggling in various ways and I will be praying for each and every one of them.

Five families are receiving meals thanks to Beehive Meals, and I’m incredibly grateful to them for making that possible. I asked, and they immediately said, yes! I am so honored to partner with such a giving company who understands the grind of motherhood and wants to make life easier.

On September 10, the St. Peter’s Parent Association is hosting its Second Annual Bingo Night Fundraiser & Mixer! It’s open to past + present parents, so if your family has a connection to St. Peter’s Church or School, come out for a fun night and support them!

Funds raised support the events and extras that make St. Peter’s special, from Spring Fling and teacher appreciation to classroom and building improvements + more.
