Sept | 6 PM | Antler Stadium
Celebrate Schreiner Family Weekend with an evening of Mountaineer football! Schreiner hosts Southwestern University at Antler Stadium for a matchup bringing together students, families, alumni, and the Hill Country community.
Worth the Drive Weekend Pick: Jenschke Orchards Fall Fest
Jenschke Orchards opens up this weekend on Friday on Sept. 18th!
Make the drive to Fredericksburg for a full day of fall fun. Pick your own pumpkins, tackle the five-acre USA-themed corn maze, meet farm animals and play your way through the corn pit, giant jumpy pillow, Mega Texas 2 Slide, excavator station, duck races, roller racers, bubble station and more. LeRoy’s TexMex BBQ is also right next door so food is easy peasy.
Mom Tip: The corn pit is AWESOME and my son has spent hours in there before. It is honestly a great time and kids LOVE it.
However, corn pits can be dangerous for little ones, especially if you have a kiddo that likes to put things in their mouths or up their noses. I have seen a few too many of these corn pit video mishaps. 😬
You know your kiddo best, and for my son I wasn’t worried when he was little but my daughter however is a different story. So head’s up if that is something you need to avoid.

⚾️ September Clinics → D-BAT Kerrville is offering three-week pitching, hitting and catching clinics throughout September, with each skill meeting one evening a week from 6–7 PM. Clinics are $89 each, and registration is available by calling 830-315-3228.

Fall Sports Savior
I can’t tell you how much I love this stand up umbrella I just found. It folds up like a folding chair. Is sturdy but lightweight to carry. Affordable. But most of all, I don’t have it in me to put up a whole darn canopy at the fields. I would rather do anything else than mess with those things, especially when my husband is working and I am alone at the fields.
