Kerrville Weekly Rundown

Before We Dive In…

As I put this week's newsletter together, I kept thinking about how our community is carrying so many different things right now. In many ways, this week still looks like any other, filled with camps, errands, and holiday plans. But beneath those everyday moments is a layer of memories, reflection, and heartache that this time of year naturally brings back for so many of us.

My hope, as always, is simply to be helpful. Whether that's a reminder you needed, an activity that gives your kids something to look forward to, or one less thing you have to search for this week.

The upcoming holiday weekend doesn't feel like the right time for this kind of newsletter to land in your inbox, so I'm going to give it a quiet pause next week.

I'll be back the following Sunday with another roundup. In the meantime, you can always visit KerrvilleFamilyGuide.com for upcoming events, guides, and resources, or follow along on Facebook and Instagram for timely updates.

This week's newsletter is presented by Kerrville Homeschoolers, building community through flexible, high-quality, instructor-led learning opportunities that complement your homeschool journey. Registration open now.

Community Highlight

Kerrville Homeschoolers

Kerrville Homeschoolers is built around a simple idea: community should be accessible to every homeschooling family.

The community is free to join, with no membership dues, volunteer requirements, or teaching commitments. Families simply choose the classes, field trips, and activities that fit their interests and schedule, paying only for the opportunities they participate in.

A variety of high-quality homeschool enrichment learning opportunities are offered throughout the year. Kerrville Homeschoolers is designed to complement your homeschool experience, not replace it. Parents remain fully in charge of their children's education while adding instructor-led learning experiences, enrichment opportunities, and community along the way.

The classes & opportunities Melissa offers reflect her passion for learning and teaching through instructor-led, hands-on learning experiences. Rather than focusing on passive instruction, classes are designed to actively engage students in the learning process through guided exploration, problem-solving, and creative application. Melissa emphasizes curiosity, critical thinking, and real-world connections, encouraging students to ask questions, test ideas, collaborate with peers, and learn by doing in a supportive, interactive environment.

⭐️ Registration is currently OPEN for academic enrichment classes, clubs, special events and upcoming field trips.
