Worth the Drive Picks: Last Minute Labor Day Escapes
Did Labor Day sneak up on you? There’s still time to squeeze in one last round of summer fun.
Check for a last-minute cabin at Jellystone Guadalupe River in Kerrville, Canyon Lake, or Texas Wine Country in Fredericksburg.
Head to New Braunfels for a stay at Fernweh, or Stay & Play at Schlitterbahn. Did you know you can stay onsite at Schlitterbahn and get early access to the parks?
Make Marble Falls and Horseshoe Bay your destination. Lake LBJ is nearly full, public boat & tube rentals are available if you don’t stay at the resort. You can add Putters & Gutters, and a lakeside meal to your list of to-dos. Bonus: The Science Mill and Exotic Resort Zoo are also right along the way.
Or keep it simple with one big day at Fiesta Texas, SeaWorld, or Aquatica while the end-of-summer deals are still running.
